1. How do I make money?

A. You get paid for hosting the Ad Chap ads on your application pages. When someone clicks on the ad on your page, you get paid for that click, install or action.

2. What social networks do you operate on?

A. Currently we operate on facebook, bebo, hi5 and myspace with more sites to come soon.

3.  I would like to manage all my apps across social networks, is this possible?

Yes, you can manage all of your apps across facebook, bebo, hi5 and myspace.  You can manage your advertising and also analytics and statistics from one easy to use web platform.  http://stats.adchap.com  As we add more social networks, you will be able to manage those as well, all from the same Ad Chap web interface.

4. Can I host more than one ad on my application page?

A. Sure, just paste the code snippet twice in your application's code.  It is advisable not to "overload" your page with ads however.  You should find the balance between advertising efficiency and user experience.

5. I want to be paid by cheque or another method.

A. Paypal is currently the preferred method of payment. It is easy and free to sign up for a paypal account. From there you can transfer the money directly to your bank account at any time. We can pay you by telegraphic / wire transfer directly to your bank. The fee for each wire transfer is $30 plus your bank may charge a small fee as well.

6. When will I get paid?

A. We make payments on or about the 20th of every month for earnings of the previous month. If the payment date falls on a weekend, you can expect your payment to be made on the Monday following the weekend.

7. Is there a minimum amount of earnings I need to make before getting paid?

A. Yes. Balances over $100 will be paid out. If your balance is under $100, you will need to bring your balance up to $100 in earnings to be paid.  Your earnings do not expire, if your balance is not up to $100 yet, it will remain in your account until it is.  You can also use the funds to advertise (see number 8 below)

8. My balance is over $100 and I did not get paid. What is going on?

A. You need to set up your account by filling in your paypal account information (and then click save) in the account preferences section of the Ad Chap application.

9. I don't want to be paid every month and want to build my balance

A. In the account section you can turn monthly payments off. Just turn it back on when you want to get paid.

10. I want to use my publisher balance to advertise. How do I do this?

A. No problem. If you have enough funds to buy the $10 minimum then you can make the transfer, it is available in the account tab.

11. How do I sell ads on my application's canvas page?

A. Go to the Manage>Get Code tab and configure your ad to the styling that fits your liking. You will be give a code snippet. Copy and paste this code into your application. To maximize your earnings, you will need to do this for each and every page. You will need to generate one code per application.

12. Some of the other ad networks require tax and ID numbers, do you need these numbers to pay me?

A. No, Ad Chap is owned by a Hong Kong incorporated company and we do not require this information at this time. That said, it is your responsibility to report your income to your local tax authorities. We are not responsible for your taxes or tax advice.

13. Will you report my income to my local tax or other authorities?

A. See number 10 above. You are solely responsible for reporting income and paying your taxes in your jurisdiction. Ad Chap will only give out information about our customers to authorities if and only if we are required by laws to do so.

14. How is the amount I get paid for each click determined?

A. You get 75% of the revenue for each click.

15. I have a suggestion to make the Ad Chap service better.
